Bull Fighting Breeding Farm

This was a HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Ronda, mostly because it was so unexpected. The tour was so educational - it was amazing to finally get a tiny glimpse into why bull fighting is so important in this culture. The animals are beautiful and highly respected and this tour was really interesting. It inspired us to do more research

Great Visit in family

Great tour and trip, we went with our 2 children (2.5 years and 6 months) and my eldest had a great time. The tour was really interesting understanding how it all works and being able to see the animals. Being able to try out the capes was great fun. I would recommend to other families too.

Wonderful Experience

We called a few hours in advance and arranged an English speaking tour with our 5 small children (children under 4 are free). It was a highlight of our trip and a truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anybody of any age. The admission fee may seem pricey but it is worth it and you come away feeling that you would have paid more. We will go again when we return next year.

Interesting and Informative

I booked this visit based on tripadvisor reviews and we really enjoyed it.
The owner, bullfighter Rafael Tejada, was charming and interrupted his training to greet us. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative, we learned a lot about about the breeding and training of the animals and the bullfighter and about bullfighting itself. The cattle and horses were all in beautiful condition and clearly well cared-for. We got the opportunity to feed the pure-bred Andalusian horses.
I would recommend this visit even if you don't approve of bullfighting.

Excellent

This was a wonderful tour giving us great incite to the world of bull fighting. There is a lot of science to raising bulls and picking out the ones that will be best for fighting. All the animals are raised in a very humane way. The tour took us to their small bull ring, a bus ride through the different pastures, to see their Andalusian horses used on the farm, and finally to learn how the matador uses the cape with a chance to try it out.

Very Educational

This turned out to be a great stop in a ride from Malaga to Ronda. Located just a few minutes from the town of Ronda, this is being developed even more into a destination stop. We had a detailed tour of the grounds and buildings and learned all about the breeding and selection of bulls for fighting and the horses used to help with that process. There is a hands on portion of the tour where you can try your technique with the cape and other props. I learned a lot about all the aspects of bull fighting. The owner is El Torero Rafael Tejada a currently active bullfighter.

Amazing visit to a very unique place in Spain!

I can highly recommend RESERVATAURO!!! We were just there with our 3 teenage kids and though they weren´t very keen on going at first, they found the visit so worthwhile!!!! It was a unique experience of seeing the natural environment of bulls and horses, and learning so much about the tradition of bulls in Spain. We loved it and would highly recommend this visit! the staff is superb and exude their passion for the work they do...don´t miss this!
